When I saw your product on the Grommet website, we thought maybe this will work better than what we have been doing! Simple preparation and placement around the kitchen and pantry! We ordered the refill Kit but grommet did not have the correct bait traps! So we poured the stuff in small containers around the kitchen and some of them were directly drawn in and died but many others escaped. We contacted them at “Flyaway Products” and they went above and beyond to get us the bait traps on a timely basis. Need I say more that those buggies are well under control now! This a a great product and the support people are awesome 👏

I’ve only had a chance to use this product a few times, but so far so good. I like that you can use it with batteries or charge it with a USB cord. The picture shows sticky remnants of blueberries and syrup, along with my cup of coffee. A few flys came close, but then they were gone. I think if you had a lot of food on an outdoor table, with a group of people eating, multiple units would be advisable. It really does seem to work and at this point, I will give it two thumbs up! 👍👍

yes it does work ok, my outdoor patio area is only like 15 x 8, but i may need a 3rd or 4th one; the battery operation of this is lack luster [fan even turns slower], so i opted for solar power ac operation and i assume because the reflection is needed is why daylight or some kind of light is needed to work effectively [overall i believe it does what's needed [i'd say cut down about 75%+ of the flies, which is a great help] and was a good purchase] 👍🏾

Had it bad with an outbreak of those things. As I tried to find the source, you know, what fruits did buy, there were more and more. The order came as if you knew my dire straits. I put all the traps out and even used a big oven bowl, no saran or anything, and, BAM, those critters flocked to the bait. Within a day or so, problem solved. Muchas gracias.
I really love this product. It doesn't smell up my house and there is enough liquid in the container, so that it doesn't dry out. It works really well attracting the fruit flies and they were pretty much gone in a few days. I love the fact you a good size bottle so you can replenish the liquid if you still need to use it, I have had mine on the kitchen sill for a few weeks now and still has plenty of liquid and a bunch of fruit flies at the bottom! It just hasn’t worked at all. same amount of random flies despite 3 traps set up around the kitchen, seeking another cause of the issue, like drain flies or they are in a plant i have, so fixing all those issues first.

The two flytraps I ordered had not done a thing! I set them up as directed, have not had one of the little fruit flys that we seem get attracted to the container. Still have them flying around. Would not buy any more of these.
I have made and used home maid fruit fly traps for use at home in the past. Small bowl, apple cider vinegar, and a couple of drops of dish washing liquid with a plastic wrap cover and toothpick holes. Worked ok for a while but lost its attraction after a week. I find the Fly Away Fruit Fly Trap products to be much more powerful at first, as the flies would hardly let me put them down before entering although i noticed the same loss of attraction after a week also. Is it possible they change their menu as they mature like ants do? I am going to try adding a small piece of different fruits to each of the three to see what happens as It will be three weeks since I began using them. If I get some results, I will try to remember to message you. At "contact@flyawayproduct.com" I highly recommend this product and the convenience it provides.
